It seemed like I have not read a book by Mary Higgins Clark in so long but this was worth any wait. This was a great suspense novel and I loved it. It had a lot of twists and turns. So looking forward to another book.

This was a wonderful debut novel.. This had romance and intrigue. During the whole book I was trying to decide who got killed. I knew who was being manipulative but you still kind of liked all the characters. You knew there was something not quite right but you aren’t sure what. I look forward to more books by Peter Seth. This was a nice story about a young teenage boy who does not know who his real father is. He does have a stepfather who grew up in the Amish faith. He left the faith before he married Lenny’s mother. This means he can still spend time with his Amish family. Lenny’s step grandfather wants Lenny to spend a summer learning more about his Amish family members. Lenny goes to the Amish farm and learns to work with horses. He gets close to his grandfather and gets to be very close to the horses that he is learning to work with. He also learns more about his Amish family and he has many adventures during his summer.
I enjoyed learning some about this sect of Amish and I liked the characters that were in the story. My favorite character was the grandfather. I would have liked my grandfather to be similar to him.. I enjoyed learning more about Lenny during the summer and about who his real father is. This story had a little mystery to it and a lot of growing up. Fantastic. As always this met all of my expectations for this series. I love Bishop and all of the new characters. These books make me keep believing in the paranormal. This is a story that goes from the present to the past. It is well done and a quick read. I look forward to reading many more books by Brandilyn Collins. You likeDelanie from the beginning even when you hear about her past. You almost don’t want her to ever have to relive that past even though you know that is what she will have to do. This book as always met my expectations. Kim Vogel Sawyer never disappoints me. Her characters are always first rate. It was nice to read a book in this time period and showing a girl that wants to improve herself. Along the way she finds friendship and romance. She overcomes a big obstacle of where she was born to become someone who learns to trust God. I am looking forward to the next book by Kim. I wasn’t sure I was going to like this at first since it was not a Maisie Dobbs novel but after the first few chapters I really got in to it. I could taste and smell the food that she wrote about. I am not sure I liked the ending but it was what it was. I look forward to many more of her novels.
