The book of lost fragrances by M.J. Rose
This was well written and full of suspense and a little romance. Cool to learn about perfumes and reincarnation. Loved it
Death Angel by Linda Fairstein
This was a well done mystery. You also get a lot of personal stuff. Can’t wait for the next in the series.
What once was lost by Kim Vogel Sawyer
this is a fantastic read. One of my favorite by Kim Vogel Sawyer. I loved the main characters of Christina, Levi and Tommy. It was nice to see how Levi and Tommy bonded and how Christina learned to take criticism. Was interesting to see how orphaned children were treated in those days.http://kimvogelsawyer.com. waterbrookmultnomah.com/author-spcom. otlight.php?authorid=162648. I received this book free from Blogging for Books for a fair and honest review.http://waterbrookmultnomah.com/blog/2013/06/24/sneak-peek-what-once-was-lost-by-kim-vogel-sawyer/<
Silencing Eve by iris Johansen
This was a great ending to the 3 book series. I loved the new characters that were added in this series and how we learned more about all the old ones. Can’t wait for another one.
Christmas in sugar creek: an Amish Christmas book: book one by Sicily Yoder
This is a fantastic novella. It draws you in right away and you can’t wait for the next book to know what will happen with the characters.
Aymaran Shadow by Hemanth Gorur
This was a story with a good plot though I was expecting a little more horror to it. I received this through LibraryThing giveaways. I had to finish it .. Enjoyed.
Sycamore row by John Grisham
This was a good story and I loved the ending but the lawyering talk got a little tedious in spots. You should enjoy .
Cut to the bone by Jefferson Bass
I really enjoyed this book once I got through the first quarter which seemed a little slow. The ending was great.
Tokens of Promise by Teresa Pollard. Isbn: 978-1938708145
Teresa Pollard took a simple story from the Old Testament and fleshed it out to give us an idea of what really happened between Tamar and Judah. She makes you want to know more.
This book is the story of Tamar and Judah from the bible. Can Tamar get Judah to take a second wife after he vowed never to do this. Teresa tells us how Tamar is pushed from one of Judah’s sons to the next as they die. Will she get to be Judah’s wife or will she end up with Shelah?
Most Christians should enjoy this and those who want to learn more about stories from the Old Testament.
One message is to show that women do have some rights even back in the Old Testament though not near what they should have.
This story was both romantic and enticing. I needed to know more about this because I had not heard this story before.
I was not expecting there to be two parts to this story. It did give time for Tamar to age since she was very young when she met Judah and first became we’d to his sons.
I would recommend this book to most Christians and to anyone wanting to know more about the books from the Old Testament.
This was well written and easy to follow along with. Sometimes books written about the Old Testament can be very hard to understand. This was not hard to read.
I received this book free from the publisher through the bookcrash.com book review program, which requires an honest, though not necessarily positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
you can buy this book at amazon and at Barnes and Noble. You can get it for 3.99 for the nook or the kindle. Enjoy.
