I don’t usually read this style of book but I am so glad that I decided to try it. It takes place in the Congo and has a wonderful story line. I had a hard time putting this book down. I loved the characters. I want to read more books by Matthew Palmer. I received the ebook from the first to read program by Penguin for a fair and honest opinion.

Mark of Distinction by Jessica Dotta
I loved the characters in this book but wish I had read the first in the series before reading this one because I was a little confused at times. When I figured out the story I really enjoyed the story.. I did not know how this was going to end and I loved that. I received this book from bookfun.org for a fair and honest opinion.
Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
I will say to begin that this was not one of my favorite Stephan King novels but I did enjoy it in the end. I think it starts a little slow but it gets much better towards the middle and the end. I did end up liking the main characters and that helped the story.
Shots Fired by C.J. Box
I am not usually a big fan of short stories but this set was pretty good. I really enjoyed the ones that had to do with joe and Nate the best. The other stories were ok but not fantastic. Look forward to reading the next installment with Joe and Nate.
Murder at Murray hill by Victoria Thompson
This has been my favorite in this series. It is all coming together and I think will just keep getting better. This story was wonderful. I do hope that she will remain a midwife in the long run but in those days that may be a long stretch for the writer.
The Reason by William Sirls
This book has really hit home right now because I am going through some trying times with inlaws being sick and a friend losing her spouse. This made me laugh and cry and when you read it you understand the reason. Wish it was that understandable in real life but one knows it cannot be. This was the first book by William Sirls that I have ever read and I look forward to more by him. This helps you to understand why things happen but it can still be hard when it happens to you. I received this book from bookfun.org for a fair and honest opinion.
The 6th Extinction by James Rollins
I liked this book much better than the last in the series. This had a lot more action and easier to follow. Loved all the new characters and hope to see them all again. I received this ebook from edelweiss.com for a fair and honest opinion.
Wind Over Marshdale by Tracy Krauss
This was not quite what I was expecting and that made it even better for me. It was fun to read about a small town in Canada that of course has all the bad things that can happen in a bigger town. Enjoyed the little bit of paranormal in this story also. The characters were all enjoyable and loved to learn their secrets a little at a time. I received this from bookfun.org for a fair and honest opinion.
Wish by Jake Smith
I could not put this book down.. I was not sure I would enjoy this story but I really did. It made me laugh and cry almost at the same time. I am so glad that this is not something that I have ever had to go through with my children. I received this book from bookfun.org for a fair and honest opinion. Do not know how this author could ever best this one but I will read more by him.
Killer by Jonathan Kellerman
I enjoyed this book in the series. Loved how Alex and Milo work so well together. The story just got better with each page you read. One of his best for a long time. Keep them coming just like this one.
