The Well of Ice by Andrea Carter

This is the first book I have ever read by this author. I hope it is not the last. This was the third book in the series though I did not feel lost as to who was who. I really hope there will be more books in this series. I liked Ben and Molloy. Ben(Benedicta), seemed to fall in to helping Molloy solve this murder. She seemed to be close to all of the suspects. I loved the twists and turns. I received a copy of this book from Oceanview Publishing for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

I give this book a four out of five stars.

Just before the Christmas holidays, Benedicta “Ben” O’Keeffe visits her parents in Dublin and runs into Luke Kirby—the man who killed her sister—now released from jail. He appears remorseful, conciliatory even, but his comment as she walks away makes her realize he is as evil as ever. On returning home to Glendara, Ben finds the local pub burned down, the barmaid missing and, while walking her dog, a body lying face down in the snow. Who could be behind these vicious attacks? Could the evil swirling around Glendara be traced to Ben’s past—and threaten her future?
