I’m Not Afraid by Lee Ann Mancini

This is a wonderful children’s book that teaches a fantastic lesson. The story is fun and runs along smoothly. The illustrations are great. Susie the shark and her friend Rachel the octopus are going to the Undersea Amusement Park. Rachel wants to do the roller coaster first but Susie wants to do other things because she is scared but doesn’t want to admit it. After doing many other things she decides to pray and will this give her the courage to go on the ride? I loved the story and believe that parents and children will truly enjoy this. I received this book from bookcrash.com for a fair and honest opinion.

This wonderful-underwater world of vibrant colors shows Susie and her friend going to the Undersea Amusement Park. Susie makes many excuses not to ride the Whale-Back Coaster. After speaking with her mommy and saying a prayer to Jesus, she rides the ride and her fear turns into faith! She learns that praying to Jesus during difficult times, and having faith, is all she needs to overcome her fears. Susie’s friend, Rachel, helps her too and the two of them have a fun-filled day!
